ICAI’s CA Foundation exam will be conducted twice a year in the months of May and November. New syllabus will be applicable from May 2018. ICAI will give some fixed number of attempts to complete CA CPT in old syllabus for old registration students. There are 4 papers in CA Foundation course from May 2018. ICAI introduced general English and Business and Commercial Knowledge subjects in CPT new syllabus.

    I am attempting December 2016 exam for CA CPT. If by chance I fail in December attempt & again if I want to appear June 2017 so, I would get new syllabus of 2017 or the old syllabus. Because I am already attempting cpt with old syllabus in December & has done registration of cpt on October 2014 itself & after 2014 directly attempting december 2016 exams.(Please help me & provide me perfect guidelines).

    sir maine dec 2016 me registration kraya tha but mai kisi problem se dec attempt nhi de pai lekin ab mai june 2017 ka attempt dena chahati hu to sir mujhe apni study new syllabus se ya old syllabus se krni hogi.

      Heyyy priyanshi Sharma u can register urself with icai in the months of March 18 and start ur preparation right from April to may 2months time and then appear for cpt in June 18 and thoroughly go through the syllabus. Institutes will start their batches from starting April 18 or last weekend of March 18.So be focused on your goal and all d best.
